Roots & Refreshment:
2025/26 Impact Summary

The 2025/26 fiscal year at Napton Cidery has been defined by our commitment to "Mission over Margins". As we work toward our B Corp Certification goal for 2027, we are proud to share the progress we’ve made in nurturing the Warwickshire landscape and our community.

Our Top Achievements

100% Local Sourcing: Every ingredient we use is sourced within a 70-mile radius.

Zero Waste: We achieved 0% waste-to-landfill from our production processes.

Living Wage: We are in the process of applying for living wage membership although we have been paying all staff above minimum wage since the outset.

We are dedicated to reducing our footprint "from branch to bottle".

Environmental Stewardship

Energy & Carbon: Our electricity is 100% renewable purchased through an energy supplier, and we successfully reduced our kWh consumption by 18% this year. We have offset our remaining carbon output (39 tonnes) by supporting the Saint Nikola Wind Farm.

Circular Economy: 100% of our apple pomace (pressed pulp) is upcycled as animal feed or orchard compost.

Biodiversity: We planted or maintained 18 traditional bittersweet apple trees, expanding habitats for local pollinators.

Our People & Community

Investment in Craft:
Our team averaged 15 hours of professional development per year, ranging from fork lift training, to first aid, to cider production and food hygiene.

Local Economic Impact:
Beyond our ingredients, we support local logistics and commission local artists for our label designs.

Charitable Giving:
We donated over £540 specifically to local wildlife trusts, in addition to cider donations for community fundraisers.

Our People & Community

Transparency:
Our Articles of Association now include a "Mission Lock" to protect stakeholder interests legally.

Product Integrity:
We maintain 100% real juice content from the UK orchards with no artificial concentrates or industrial additives and never from concentrate.

THE ROAD TO 2027

We aren't slowing down. Our key targets for the coming year include:

Solar Transition: Installing solar arrays on the Taproom roof to move toward grid independence.
Water Conservation: Implementing rainwater harvesting to reduce farm water intensity.
B Corp Milestone: Finalising our assessment with a target score of 80+.
